VOLARE TENORS IN THE PRESS

FRINGE REVIEW: VOLARE TENORS, 4 stars out of 5

They clearly revel in exploring what they can do with this kind of popular material using their classical voices and training. Their three tenor sounds have different colours, creating both varied solos and interesting harmonies, and the crossover styles really work.
A really enjoyable hour, from three singers whom one suspects will go far.

“What an amazing performance! Loved your takes on Journey, Elvis and Lonestar among others. Such great harmonies. Keep doing what your doing!”

Dan Fontaine

“I love what VOLARE offers – great energy, inventive harmonies, a high level of musicianship in their original arrangements. You can tell they love singing, and that is infective. Each have distinct vocal qualities featuring wonderful solo turns, yet they blend so well to give a fresh take on any material they present.”

FRINGE REVIEW: VOLARE TENORS Make Beautiful Popera Together

The three: Laren Steppler with his crystalline high tenor, Kaden Forsberg, a tenor with a bit of a vocal basement register, and Taylor Fawcett – he of the pure tone and and liquid delivery, are classically trained and have been recognized by reviewers for “seamlessly blending styles to create a program that has something for everyone.”

“Just attended the VOLARE TENORS “Unchained Melodies” concert in the tent at King’s University. What a great afternoon! Fun, funny and such great music wonderfully performed. Our only regret? There isn’t another performance so we can see them again right away. Talent, humour, comradery and high-level musicianship.”

Lorne Gunter

“The VOLARE TENORS provided live performances at our outdoor winter event and were absolutely amazing. Our guests loved them! Their voices are incredible! They were so easy to work with and kept safety in mind as we all dealt with ever changing covid protocols which made the whole experience a pleasure.”
